Context
In late May 1994, Jean de Dieu Kamuhanda held the office of Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Interim Government, replacing Dr. Daniel Nbangura. Jean de Dieu Kamuhanda held the office until mid-July 1994. He was the Director of Higher Education and Scientific Research before the events of 1994, and then counselor to President Sindikubwabo during the events until late May 1994.
