Context

Mahamat Nouradine Adam is an alleged senior leader of the Seleka coalition in the Central African Republic. He is suspected of responsibility for crimes committed in detention facilities, including at the Office Central de Répression du Banditisme (OCRB), in Bangui in 2013. The ICC issued a warrant of arrest under seal on 7 January 2019, which was unsealed on 28 July 2022. The suspect remains at large.
